Microblading is a manual semi-permanent brow micropigmentation technique that requires a significant period of practice to achieve proficiency. Skill development is not measured in days but in months of continued practice.
This course is designed as a structured introduction to manual brow micropigmentation. During the training programme, learners will gain foundational knowledge of the technique, skin structure, tools, and common challenges associated with manual brow work.
Following completion of the course, learners are expected to continue practising independently. On average, approximately 150 hours of practice over three to four months is required to develop confidence, consistency, and professional competence.
This course provides the foundations required to begin this development journey safely and correctly.
• Minimum age 18
• No prior beauty or micropigmentation experience required
• A good standard of written and spoken English to understand course content, safety guidance, and assessment requirements
• Completion of the required online theory module prior to attending practical training
• Commitment to continued practice following course completion
Course fees include training delivery, supervised practical sessions, assessment, and certification.
A deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance payable prior to the course start date.

Module 1: Online Theory (Pre-Course Requirement)

Module 1.3 Work Practice Controls
• Cross-contamination and risk reduction
• Safe handling of body fluids
• Hazardous waste disposal
• Correct glove use and hand hygiene
• Managing exposure incidents
Module 1.4 Safe Practice Principles
• Clean working techniques for manual brow micropigmentation
• Client consultation and consent
• Professional conduct and duty of care
Module 2: Practical Training (Days 2 and 3)
Day 2 Foundation Practical Skills
• Introduction to manual brow micropigmentation
• Golden ratio and brow mapping
• Tools, blades, and pigments
• Stroke practice on skin simulation
Day 3 Supervised Live Model Practice
• Brow mapping and symmetry
• Skin stretching and pressure control
• Use of topical anaesthetics
• Pigment placement under instructor guidance
Module 3: Kit Orientation
• Overview of kit contents
• Safe and correct use of supplied materials
Completion of this course provides learners with the foundational knowledge and supervised practical exposure required to begin developing skills in manual brow micropigmentation.
Continued independent practice and professional development are essential before offering treatments commercially.
This course supports progression towards self-employment, further advanced training, or future regulated qualifications where appropriate.
